Ground rules for playing NerdGuessr, using an account, contributing questions, and understanding how the service may change.

Acceptance

By using NerdGuessr.com, a subsidiary/property of NerdGuessr Pty Ltd, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Use the Game Fairly

Play fairly. Do not cheat, automate play, exploit bugs, harass other players, spam lobbies, impersonate others, or try to disrupt the service.

Community Submissions

Questions, answers, explanations, and media you submit should be suitable for players, accurate enough for review, and either your own work or something you have the right to share. Moderators may edit, reject, hide, or remove submissions.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in method secure and tell support if you think someone else has access. We may limit, suspend, or remove access where there is abuse, security risk, or a serious breach of these terms.

Privacy and Data

Use of NerdGuessr involves account, gameplay, submission, moderation, and security data. The privacy policy explains what is collected, why it is used, and how to make privacy or data-rights requests.

Children

NerdGuessr is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age required to consent to online services in your location, use the service only with the consent and supervision required by law.

Availability

NerdGuessr is provided as-is. We aim to keep the game available and improving, but features, question pools, game modes, ranks, scores, and rewards may change as the service evolves.

Content and Ownership

NerdGuessr branding, code, interface, and curated content belong to the project or its licensors. By submitting content, you give NerdGuessr permission to host, moderate, display, adapt, and use it inside the game.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, NerdGuessr is not responsible for indirect losses, lost progress, lost scores, unavailable features, data loss caused by events outside reasonable control, or third-party service outages.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms, unless applicable law requires a different process. Questions can be sent to hello@nerdguessr.com.
